KNIGHTDALE, N.C. -- Bill McGinty of 11Alive's sister station, NBC Charlotte, brought this photo to the attention of the WCNC.com team on Thursday-- it's a black snake eating a copperhead!
McGinty says he received the photo from his brother, which was taken in the Raleigh suburb of Knightdale.
And as McGinty pointed out on his own Facebook page: This is why you don't kill black snakes; they're actually very productive members in the eco-system.
