MOORESVILLE, Ind. — Nearly two years after a 3-year-old from Mooresville was reported missing, police said the child was found in Bloomington.
In August 2022, a Silver Alert was issued for then-3-year-old Steven Bryan and Caleb Blevins. They were believed to be with Deborah Bryan, who is Steven's mother and Blevins' girlfriend. The three were last seen on July 18, 2022.
Police put their photos out, along with a description of Deborah's car, but they were never found.
Nearly two years later, Mooresville police reported the three were found at a home in Bloomington.
Steven was taken into protective custody and will be released to the Department of Child Services during the investigation.
Deborah was arrested for a warrant out of Morgan County for interference with custody. The prosecutor's office will determine any charges she and Blevins will face.

Amber Alert vs. Silver Alert: What's the difference?
There are specific standards a person's disappearance must meet in order for police to declare an Amber Alert or a Silver Alert.
Amber Alerts are for children under the age of 18 who are believed to have been abducted and in danger. Police also need to have information about a suspect and their car to issue an Amber Alert.
Silver Alerts are for missing and endangered adults or children. They are much more common for missing people. It was not until last year when the standards for Silver Alerts were expanded to include children.
In both situations, these alerts must be issued by police.
