Tik Tok star Kyle Marisa Roth has died at age 36, family announces

Roth had nearly 200,000 followers on the social media app, where she was known for her hot takes on Hollywood gossip. She was a Lehigh University grad.

BETHLEHEM, Pa. — A TIk Tok star from Pennsylvania has died at age 36, reports say.

Kyle Marisa Roth, a Lehigh University graduate and lacrosse player, had nearly 200,000 followers on the social media app. She was known for her candid and sometimes controversial takes on pop culture and Hollywood gossip.

Roth's family announced her death on social media last week, according to WFMZ.

Her sister, Lindsay, said in an Instagram post that the family did not yet know how Roth died, and an official cause of death has not yet been released.

“As a family we are still processing and deciding how to properly celebrate and honor her life,” Lindsay Roth wrote on Instagram. “I know she touched so many people with her humor, intelligence, beauty, gossip activism, athleticism and more — she had so many gifts.”

Roth's mother posted her reaction on LinkedIn asking everyone to be kind to one another.

“This is not a platform for personal life shares but so many of my connections on this platform go back years, and I have a devastating loss to share,” she wrote. “My daughter Kyle has passed away. She touched some of your lives personally and some of your lives via her immense life on another platform. Kyle loved and lived fiercely. Nothing makes sense now and we’ll understand more in the next few days. Be kind to one another please."
