Georgia servicemembers offer Thanksgiving messages

ATLANTA — Georgia servicemembers offered their Thanksgiving wishes back home to metro Atlanta in a pair of video messages.

The messages come courtesy of Air Force Tech. Sgt. Anson Monostene, from Atlanta, and Army Chief Warrant 2 Steven Tipton, from Marietta.

Chief Tipton is with V Corps in Fort Knox, Kentucky, and wished a happy Thanksgiving to all his friends and family back in Marietta.

Sgt. Monostene is stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany currently, where he sent his message from the base's Kaiserslautern Military Community Center. He wished a happy Thanksgiving to his mom here in Atlanta, as well as his sister and dad in Florida.

 Happy Thanksgiving to all of Georgia's servicemembers at home and abroad!
