ATLANTA — Police say one person is dead after a shooting in west Atlanta
Atlanta officers arrived on the scene just before 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning to find the victim in the 2500 block of Campbellton Road not far from Greater New Light Baptist Church.
According to police, both the victim and the shooter knew each other. Police believe they were at a nearby house when they got into an argument and the victim was shot and died outside. Police said the shooter stayed on the scene.
