It's a reality that still may seem strange to a lot of longtime residents: Georgia is a swing state.
The purple Peach State was hotly contested (and contested, and contested) in 2020. It elected a Republican governor and Democratic senator in 2022. Who knows what Georgia voters -- who will have a massive say in who occupies the White House come Inauguration Day 2025 -- will do in 2024?
Early voting begins October 15 in Georgia and Election Day is November 5.
