ATLANTA — Election Day 2024 has dawned, and in Georgia there are already 4 million votes in the books after the early voting period in October.
That was a state record, and Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger called it "the most successful Early Voting period in Georgia history."
With more than 55% turnout already among active voters, roughly 1 million votes on Election Day would see Georgia surpass its 2020 Election total turnout.
As we wait Tuesday to see if the Peach State does indeed reach that mark, here's a look at the turnout figures during early voting for Georgia's 159 counties.
County by county turnout in Georgia during early voting
All data is from the state's election hub. Counties are listed alphabetically. Turnout figures are a percent of active voters, which in Georgia is considered any voter who has voted in the last five years or otherwise interacted with the election system.
