The results of yet another Georgia election remains undecided - and is headed to a recount.
According to Cobb County officials, certified results of House District 37 had Democrat Mary Frances Williams winning the race with 50.34% of the vote. Republican incumbent Sam Teasley had 49.61%. According to the board of elections, only 173 votes separated the two.
As a result, the board of elections will recount all the ballots cast in the race.
Officials said the Board of Elections is tentatively set to meet at noon Friday to certify the recount.
District 37 includes portions of northeast Cobb, as well as a parts of Marietta and west Cobb.
Several other high-profile Georgia races, including the one for governor, also remain undecided, more than a week after the Nov. 6 election.
Republican Brian Kemp has declared himself victor in that election, though challenger Stacey Abrams has vowed not to concede until every vote is counted
