ATLANTA — Four women will moderate the the Democratic presidential primary debate next month in Georgia, MSNBC announced Wednesday.
Moderating the Nov. 20 event will be Rachel Maddow, host of The Rachel Maddow Show on MSNBC, Andrea Mitchell, host of Andrea Mitchell Reports on MSNBC and NBC News chief foreign Affairs correspondent, Kristen Welker, NBC News White House correspondent, and Ashley Parker, Washington Post White House reporter.
The city, venue and format will be announced at a later date, according to MSNBC.
Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Kamala Harris, Bernie Sanders, Tom Steyer, Elizabeth Warren and Andrew Yang are the candidates who have qualified so far.
Candidates must have at least 165,000 unique donors, with at least 600 each in at least 20 states by one week before the debate. That's up from 130,000 donors — with 400 donors each in at least 20 states — for September and October.
It will air live on MSNBC and will also stream on MSNBC.com and the Post's website, as well as across mobile devices via NBC News and the Post's mobile apps.
"Georgia is going to be a battleground," said former state Sen. Curt Thompson (D-Norcross), now running for Gwinnett County commission chairman. "And the best way to keep that energy up for it to be a battleground is to have it in those northern suburbs, and have it here in Gwinnett."
