The Republican Senate nominee, who is accused of sexual misconduct with teen girls while in his 30s, accused Kimmel of mocking "our Christian values."
"(C)ome down to Alabama and do it man to man," tweeted Moore, whose actual Senate opponent is Democrat Doug Jones.
.@jimmykimmel If you want to mock our Christian values, come down here to Alabama and do it man to man. #ALSen https://t.co/E7oQB9D83P

Kimmel seemed more than happy to take up Moore's challenge, jabbing back with his own tweet: "Sounds great Roy - let me know when you get some Christian values and I’ll be there!"

Moore hit back at the late-night host, tweeting: "Despite D.C. and Hollywood Elites' bigotry towards southerns, Jimmy, we'll save you a seat on the front pew."

To which Kimmel replied: "OK Roy, but I'm leaving my daughters at home! P.S. - wear that cute little leather vest," a reference to Moore's clothing during a campaign event where he brandished a pistol.
