ATLANTA — The Super Bowl isn't the only highly-anticipated game happening in Atlanta - another gang of fierce competitors has already taken the field.
On Sunday, the LifeLine Animal Rescue Project held the Puppy Bowl, hosted at SweetWater Brewing Company. There was even a halftime show with kittens as the special guests!
The cute contest was a way to raise awareness for adoptions for the more than 1,000 homeless animals at their shelters. It also served as a fundraiser for the rescue group - one dollar of every pint purchased at the brewery Sunday was donated to the LifeLine Animal Project.

This was just one of many events in town to help celebrate the Super Bowl coming to Atlanta. Free concerts, fan experiences and more will be here all week ahead of the Big Game inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium Feb. 3.
