WORTH COUNTY, Ga. — A driver and 20 students were all taken to the hospital Tuesday after a school bus rolled over on its side in Worth County, according to NBC affiliate WALB.

The crash happened around 7:20 a.m. along Massey Airport Road, WALB reported. Sources at the station say the driver lost control and the bus overturned onto the driver's side. It was on its final route to drop kids off at school.

Thankfully, WALB said everyone on board only suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Phobe Worth Medical Center for treatment, according to WALB.

Worth County Schools Superintendent Nehemiah Cummings released the following statement:

“I would like to thank our local EMA and law enforcement for their rapid response and coordination. We are also grateful for the staff at Phoebe Worth who provided expert, timely care to our students. Our students and parents are also to be commended for their patience and cooperation. We are thankful everyone is safe, and grateful for everyone who helped take care of our students today.”
