WINDER, Ga. — Today, family, friends, and members of the Barrow County community will attend a viewing of Christian Angulo at Saint Matthew Catholic Church in Winder. Christian was one of the students killed in the Apalachee High School shooting

During a vigil held September 7 to honor Christian and the other three victims killed during the shooting, a letter from Christian’s sister was read aloud.

“We are so devastated. We appreciate any prayers at this time,” read the representative for Christian’s family.

14-year-old Christian, a student at Apalachee High, was in the hallway when the gunman opened fire using an AR-style weapon on September 4.

Christian was one of two students shot and killed. Two teachers were also killed during the shooting. Hundreds are expected to gather at Saint Matthew Catholic Church in Winder for Christian's viewing.

As Christian’s friends and loved ones prepare for their final goodbyes, the community is reflecting on the person he was. “He was such a kind and funny kid. He loved to play video games with his friends on his computer,” the family added.

According to Angulo's family, a viewing will be held on September 19 at 8 p.m., with the funeral being held the following day at 11 a.m.
