Who is Terrence Bradley? | Key witness in Fani Willis, Nathan Wade disqualification hearing

On Monday, behind closed doors, Bradley was called to be cross-examined and take the witness stand, leading to Tuesday's testimony.

ATLANTA — Terrence Bradley is now taking the spotlight as the fate of both Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade may rest on his testimony.

Trump co-defendant Michael Roman’s lawyer, Ashleigh Merchant, filed a motion accusing Willis and special prosecutor Wade of engaging in “a personal, romantic relationship that has ultimately yielded substantial income to the special prosecutor."

On Monday in a behind closed-door "in camera" meeting, Bradley was called to be cross examined a second time and take the witness stand leading to Tuesday's testimony.

Judge Scott McAfee ordered Bradley to answer more questions under oath because the judge determined at least some of Bradley's information was actually not protected by attorney-client privilege after he previously asserted that attorney-client privilege prevented him from answering their defense attorneys' questions at a previous hearing.

Who is Terrence Bradley?

Terrence Bradley is Special Prosecutor's Nathan Wade's former attorney in Wade's divorce case.

According to the State Bar of Georgia, Bradley represents his own practice called the Law Offices of Terrence A. Bradley. His office is mainly based in Cobb County, where the divorce case was originally filed.

Bradley was also a law firm partner of Wade's and his partner, Christopher Campbell, in the past, according to previous court documents in the divorce case. According to the firm's website, the firm practices family, personal injury, contract criminal defense and governmental agency law.

It appears Bradley left Wade's divorce case in 2022, according to court documents.

He attended the John Marshall Law School in Atlanta, similar to Wade. He received his license to practice law in 2007, according to the State Bar of Georgia profile.

Bradley previously testified earlier this month at an explosive two-day hearing in the ongoing court battle over whether Fulton County D.A. Fani Willis and Wade will be disqualified from their case.

The timing of when Willis and Wade's relationship began has become a pivotal point in the case as the defense team tries to convince the judge that Willis gave her romantic partner a contract to serve as the special prosecutor that earned him and his firm hundreds of thousands of dollars, then allegedly using some of that money to purchase vacations for the pair.
