ATLANTA — There have been three traffic fatalities in Georgia during the Thanksgiving holiday travel period, the Georgia Department of Public Safety reports.
Georgia DPS put out the figures at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day.
The fatal incidents occurred in Lawrenceville, Dougherty County and in Monroe County, according to the responding agencies that Georgia DPS listed (Lawrenceville PD, Dougherty County PD, Georgia State Patrol 44 - Forsyth).
It's unclear if Georgia DPS will provide further updates on Thursday.
