ATLANTA — There was no jackpot winner across the country on Tuesday night in the latest Mega Millions drawing, and the next jackpot is being estimated at $687 million.
The Mega Millions winning numbers were 2, 49, 50, 61, 70 with a yellow "Mega Ball" number of 14. The "Megaplier" in effect was 2x.
The next drawing is set for Friday night, March 8, at 11 p.m. ET.
There were no big winners in Georgia, through three people did claim a $1,000 prize.
Mega Millions Georgia winnings, Tuesday March 5
- $1,000: 3 winners
- $500: 22 winners
- $400: 7 winners
- $200: 56 winners
The three $1,000 winners matched four white-ball numbers for a $500 prize and had the 2x "Megaplier" in effect. The other $500 winners also matched four white-ball numbers.
The seven $400 winners matched three white-ball numbers and the yellow "Mega Ball" number for a $200 prize, and had the "Megaplier" in effect.

The game's odds are 1 in 302.6 million. Lucky winners can choose an annuity with annual payments over 29 years. Winners almost always take the cash option.
How to play
According to the Georgia Lottery website.
- Choose five (5) numbers from (1 through 70), then select a Mega Ball number from (1 through 25) or use the Quik Pik option and let the computer select for you.
- Select the number of plays you would like to play (up to 5). Each play is $2.
- Select the number of consecutive drawings you would like to play. You can play the same numbers for up to 26 drawings.
- Optional Play: Add Megaplier for an extra $1 to increase your winnings up to $5 million!
- Sign the back of your ticket upon purchase and secure your ticket.
