WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A Warner Robins doctor is being held without bond on drug charges.
According to the Houston County Jail website, Alan Struth faces three counts of conspiracy to violate drug laws.
Lieutenant Matt Moulton with the Houston County Sheriff's Office says Struth was arrested on Monday after a joint investigation by the Sheriff's Office and the Drug Task Force.
According to the Houston Healthcare website, Struth is 74-years-old and has offices on North Houston Road.
A woman, Karlee Steele was also arrested and charged.
13WMAZ called his office and the voicemail on Tuesday morning said "Doctor Struth's office is closed until further notice."
We also obtained copies of the arrest warrant for Struth.
The documents say he and Steele are both accused of distribution of a controlled substance and conspiring to get 1,422 dosage units of Hydrocodone and Oxycodone and 5,850 dosage units of Alprazolam through "fraudulent or otherwise fictitious prescriptions."
The pair are also facing charges for conspiring to issue and fill around 74 prescriptions for controlled substances "by means of fraud, forgery or otherwise deceptive means."
