TSA reveals 90 guns were found in airports across the U.S. in one week

In one week, TSA agents across the nation discovered a total of 90 guns at various airports.

Yes, 90 guns.

TSA posted a graphic to Instagram breaking down the various firearms they obtained from passengers last week.

In fact, May 3, set a one-day record for firearms found in carry-on bags.

On that day alone security agents found 26 firearms in 15 different airports. Twenty-one of those guns were loaded.

Atlanta’s airport tied with Houston for the most on that day with four guns discovered in carry-on bags.

However, guns weren't the only issue last week. In Denver, TSA agents found three grenades. Agents also found other weapons all over the country including knives, hatchets, and throwing stars.

In all, there were 90 firearms found in different U.S. airports 73 of them loaded.
