ATLANTA — Richard Seymour knows how to use his hands.
You don't become a world champion defensive lineman without a skill like that.
So it is absolutely crushing that a bad hand ruined Seymour's run in the 2019 World Series of Poker.
The former Georgia Bulldogs and New England Patriots great finished 131st out of nearly 8,600 entries not long after a pivotal fold on this hand:
Ouch. Seymour knows how to play poker. He plays often, and makes a lot of money doing it since his retirement from the league in 2012.
Big Rich took home $59,295 off of a $10,000 buy-in to this year's tournament. Chump change for a guy like Seymour? Maybe.
But there's no denying the fact that he is now in the pantheon of multi-talented athletes.

I hate "Mount Rushmore" pieces, but that's mine right there.
Here's some Kenny Rogers, to commemorate this little piece of slow summer sports content.
