DeKALB COUNTY, Ga. -- A person has died after being shot dead at a DeKalb County hotel.
The crime happened around 5 p.m. at the Haven Hotel at 4893 Memorial Drive - a Stone Mountain address in rural DeKalb County. According to DeKalb County police spokesperson Shiera Campbell, the incident began as a fight in one of the rooms and ended in gunfire.
The victim, a black male, died at the scene. One person was being questioned at the scene but police have yet to make an arrest or provide suspect information. The identity of the victim hasn't been released.
