HOGANSVILLE, Ga. — A Georgia city is warning anyone who decides to make themselves a little too comfortable on a local lake that they'll probably be spotted - naked.
"It ought to go without saying that nude sunbathing at Lake Jimmy Jackson is not permitted," the city of Hogansville posted online. "One of our utility workers got quite an eyeful this afternoon."
But the city is warning whoever it was - and whoever plans to do the same - that their private perch along the lake may become much more public soon.
"Please know the city will soon be installing video cameras at its parks with direct feeds into the Hogansville Police Department," the post said.
The city also goes on to thank the numerous agencies that have helped patrol the park including the Troup County Sheriff's Office and Georgia Department of Resources.
"Of course, once word gets out about that nude sunbathing, we suspect patrols might pick up a bit," the city's warning said. "Just sayin'."
On a more serious note, the city is warning that the act is unacceptable. And with police involved, there's a possibility of charges since the park is pretty public.
