ATHENS, Ga. — The most highly-anticipated question for Bulldog fans heading into their Saturday night showdown versus Ole Miss just got cleared up-- will Brock Bowers play?

The star-studded Georgia tight end was announced in the starting lineup inside Sanford Stadium just moments ago, according to 11Alive's UGA insider Anthony Dasher.

The Georgia tight end has now officially returned from TightRope surgery in just 26 days, beating former Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's recovery of 27 days several years ago.

Bowers was seen catching balls in warm-ups near the goal line during drills, per a video captured by 11Alive's Maria Martin inside Sanford Stadium.

Bowers returned to practice this week in a non-contact jersey just a little more than three weeks after undergoing TightRope surgery following a high ankle sprain suffered Oct. 14 against Vanderbilt on a tackle out of bounds.

Bowers was also seen heading past fans and into the stadium during the traditional Dawg Walk.

11Alive's UGA insider Radi Nabulsi tweeted out a video of Bowers warming up before heading back into the locker room, appearing that he would likely be ready to go for the 7 p.m. kickoff against the Rebels at Sanford Stadium.
