ATHENS, Ga. — A Classic City favorite, Creature Comforts Brewing Company in Athens, launched its first-ever seltzer brand, Sip Em Seltzer Red Lemonade, on Thursday.
This marks the brewery’s entry into the craft seltzer market and is part of a series of initiatives celebrating its partnership with the University of Georgia (UGA) Athletics. The partnership designates Creature Comforts as the "Official Craft Beer," "Official Taproom," and "Official Craft Seltzer" of the Georgia Bulldogs.
With in-game alcohol sales now approved at Sanford Stadium starting this fall, fans can enjoy Creature Comforts’ gold-medal-winning Classic City Lager, its flagship Tropicalia, and the newly launched Sip Em Seltzer while cheering on the Bulldogs.
“As we enter the second year of our partnership with UGA Athletics, we are excited to have our brands available as part of the Sanford Stadium offerings,” said Adam Beauchamp, co-founder and CEO of Creature Comforts
The new seltzer, featuring a well-balanced red lemonade flavor with no artificial additives, will be available in 12-packs at Creature Comforts’ Athens taproom and through limited distribution across Georgia.
As part of the Georgia Bulldogs partnership, Creature Comforts also announced several fan engagement activities:
- Watch parties at the official taproom for both home and away games.
- Hairy Dawg meet and greets every Friday night during home game weekends at the taproom.
- Live sports talk sessions hosted by The Players Lounge featuring Graham Coffee on Fridays and Sundays during home game weekends.
- Promotions offer fans chances to meet Georgia Athletics personalities and win game tickets, autographed memorabilia, apparel, and more.
- UGA-branded tailgate packs featuring Classic City Lager, Tropicália, Automatic, and Bibo are available statewide.
Creature Comforts, established ten years ago, has become one of America's 35 largest craft breweries and the largest independent brewery in Georgia.
