It's a simple recipe for success with this year's UGA football coaches' clinic:
Lane Kiffin + head coach Kirby Smart should equal an easy sellout for the March 28-30 event in Athens.
Throw in the star power/anecdotal storytelling capacity of Doug Pederson (Lombardi Trophy-winning coach for the Philadelphia Eagles) and Gregg Williams (controversial NFL defensive coordinator), and we're talking perhaps the biggest must-see billing in coaching-clinic history.
The UGA clinic will feature numerous presentations from college and NFL coaches, while also serving as a top-notch networking opportunity for those in the business.
Registrants will partake in philosophical and schematic discussions with Georgia's football and training staffs. They'll also be privy to on-field demonstrations and position-specific drills for two Bulldogs practices.
The addition of Kiffin (formerly of Tennessee and USC ... now the head coach at Florida Atlantic) should be well worth the price of admission.
Kiffin and Smart crossed paths at Alabama a few years ago, serving as Nick Saban's offensive and defensive coordinators, respectively.
(Oh, the stories they can tell.)
Here's a sampling of Kiffin's most famous/infamous moments, while coaching in the SEC:
