AUSTIN, Texas β How about them Dawgs? Georgia came out on top Saturday night in one of the biggest games of the season as they went head-to-head with No. 1 Texas.
It was a top-five showdown between the two with a score of 30-15.
Saturday's win helped them slowly out of the danger zone and kept them in the running for the conference championship.
The Bulldogs took to X minutes after the game to post a video of Head Coach Kirby Smart doing a victory dance.
It was Smart's 100th win since taking over Georgia football in 2016.
Although the overall win was a success, the game had a few hiccups.
During the game, Texas fans littered the north end of the field with water bottles and other trash after a pass-interference penalty initially wiped out an interception for the top-ranked Longhorns against No. 5 Georgia before officials changed their call.
Some Georgia fans took to X, screaming, "Horns Down, including UGASports.com, publisher Radi Nabulsi.
Although he plays on a different playing field, Atlanta Hawks Point Guard Trae Young took to X to recognize the team's talent after their win.
"Them Dawgs different," he said.
Georgia tight end Oscar Delp posted his own reaction to the win from the locker room on his Instragram.
11Alive's Maria Martin reposted the reaction on her X.
Georgia Atheltic Director Josh offered a heartfelt congratulations to the team.
11Alive's Chris Holcomb, who is also a beloved Bulldog, responded to the impeccable win.
Atlanta rapper Quavo celebrated the win by quoting Coach Kirby Smart's post-game comments.
ESPN sports anchor Elle Duncan also praised the team, posting 'SIC "EM' accompanied by a hype video to her X account.
Georgia will have a bye week before they head to Jacksonville for the annual Georgia-Florida game.
