ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Bulldogs were welcomed by fans in Athens on Saturday to celebrate their second straight national title.
In a sea of red and black, Coach Kirby Smart, quarterback Stetson Bennett and other players greeted fans in the crowded streets.
Here are some moments from the day.
Let's go, Dawgs!
Of course, it was only fitting to start the parade with Coach Kirby Smart. Sitting atop a car, he waved to the crowd with his wife, Mary Beth, by his side.
Later down the parade route, we spotted his son, Andrew, with him! By the way, check out his bling!
Stetson Bennett takes in the celebration
And the crowd always gives a warm welcome to their favorite quarterback, Stetson Bennett.
During the Dawg Walk, he greeted some of the fans lining the street.
Photo time!
One fan was so excited to seek Kelee Ringo and the other football players she ran out into the street to get a quick photo. It wasn't long before others tried to do the same thing!
Hey, Kenny!
From the sideline, it looked as if RB Kenny McIntosh spotted our camera. We see you too, Kenny!
Dawg Walk time!
And as always, the dog walk is a fun sight to see! Here's a moment with Coach Kirby leading the way.
