Georgia Tech sells out its Gasparilla Bowl ticket allotment

The game is set for Friday, Dec. 22 in Tampa.

TAMPA, Fla. — The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets said Monday they had sold out their ticket allotment for the Gasparilla Bowl.

It's Georgia Tech's first bowl game since 2018, and Jackets fans have evidently been itching to go bowling. Tech takes on the University of Central Florida in Tampa on Friday, Dec. 22 at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

"The sellout of Tech’s allotment of tickets is a result of fans’ enthusiasm for the Yellow Jackets’ first bowl appearance in five seasons," the program said in a release. "All fans that ordered tickets from Georgia Tech prior to Monday’s announcement are guaranteed tickets, which will be allocated beginning Monday."

The school said the order of allocation will go as follows:

  1. Current Alexander-Tharpe Donors (based on A-T Fund Priority Points as of Wednesday, Dec. 6);
  2. 2023 Football Season Ticket Members
  3. 2024 New Football Season Ticket Members
  4. Order Date

For Tech fans still wanting to get in on the game, general tickets still remain available here starting as low as $40.

Tech made it to their first bowl game in five years by going 6-6 across a schedule that included highlight wins over Miami and North Carolina.
