Freddie Freeman is a dad!

The Atlanta Braves first baseman's wife, Chelsea Freeman, posted a photo the new family of three after the birth of their son. They did not reveal the name.

Freeman left during the Braves' game Wednesday as his wife went into labor. Unfortunately, doctors had to perform an emergency c-section more than 24 hours after Chelsea went into labor, according to the post. But the little guy is healthy and happy.

Congratulations to the Freeman family!

Our first picture as a family of three!!! 24+ hours of active labor, epidural at 8-9cm dilated and 3 hours of intense pushing in every position possible and this little guy wouldn't flip (he was sunny side up) or budge past my pelvic bones. Ended up in emergency c-section. Not how I wanted my labor to go, but he is healthy and perfect!! So smitten by this guy. ❤️👶🏼
