CONWAY, S.C. — Despite the frustration in Georgia sports lately, the Georgia State Panthers landed a win Saturday afternoon.

The Panthers were able to get their second road victory over Coastal Carolina 31-21. The Chanticleers defense is ranked a Top 40 unit in America, but the Panthers showed otherwise ripping through Coastal Carolina's defense.

Coastal Carolina's defense may have not been at its best, but their offense was something to be reckoned with. The Chants rushed 27 times for 105 yards.

Georgia State looked healthy and refresh after coming off a bye week. The Panthers had three 100-yard rushers for the first time in school history and the Panthers set the school rushing record for the second-straight week for 350 yards, Georgia State has had 690 rushing yards in the last two games combined.

According to THERSdayNight.com via Twitter, Georgia State Football is now two wins away from bowl eligibility.
