Georgia Tech will close out spring football for the state of Georgia with its annual Spring Game Saturday.

It will be the final spring game for senior quarterback Justin Thomas with the Yellow Jackets. Last season, Thomas threw for 1,345 yards and 13 touchdowns.

The game will also give fans a chance to see Thomas' backups and future leaders of the offense.

TaQuon Marshall, who moved from A-back to quarterback after last season, will compete with fellow sophomores Matthew Jordan and Chase Martenson for the No. 2 spot.

The game will also give fans an early looks at the young B-backs making their way into Tech's offense. Sophomore Marcs Marshall is likely to start after leading the team with 654 yards his freshman year. However, KirVonte Benson, Dedrick Mills and Quaide Weimerskirch are all freshman head coach Paul Johnson said have created good competition amongst the backs.

Georgia Tech A-back Qua Searcy is still recovering from a season-ending ankle injury suffered in the third game of last season. One player who could get in the mix of A-backs is J.J. Green, who had to sit last season after transferring from Georgia.

Admission to the game is free, and there will be food trucks, face painters, a video game truck and more starting at 10 a.m. along Bobby Dodd Way at 10 a.m. Parking lots open at 7 a.m.
