MARIETTA, Ga. -- The #Team11 crew was in Marietta Friday for the Game of the Week pitting the Mt. Paran Christian Eagles against The Walker School Wolverines, brought to you by Academy Sports + Outdoors.

Mt. Paran exploded out of the gate on the first play from scrimmage as Mt. Paran's Taylor Trammell went 67 yards to the house for 7-0 early.

On the next Eagle series on second and seven, Mt. Paran's  Jack Lee takes the handoff and goes 50 yards for a 14-0 lead.

But it's not over yet and the Walker School puts up a fight in the first quarter. After two big penalties by Mt. Paran, the Wolverines get into the red zone to cap it off later with a one yard keeper. Walker School gets on the board cutting Mt. Paran's lead to 14-7.

Still, Mt. Paran's Trammell just kept pounding away and picks up a first down. Matthew Norton later took the ball in for a 3-yard keep and a 21-7 lead.

The Walker School's Wolverines couldn't contain Trammell who got 12 carries, 231 yards and four touchdowns for the night.

The Mt. Paran Eagles ultimately get it done 41-20.

Trammell was proud of his team and the win which puts the team at six straight victories.

"It's amazing, I mean, coming from last year to this year and we're doing what we do - winning," he said. "That's what we're going to keep on doing in my opinion; we're just going to come out and we're just going to play hard. I'm going to be honest, if we play hard, God will work everything out."

It was also a special night off the field. The game was a "Pink Out" game, raising awareness for breast cancer. The Walker School is also raising money for the Scott Shockley Foundation. Shockley, a former student of the Walker School, lost a 26-month battle with osteosarcoma in 2013. He was just 19.
