Baze to the rescue!
When the rest of the Internet was trolling NBA MVP Stephen Curry's new all-white Under Armour shoes, former teammate and Atlanta Hawk Kent Bazemore defended the new kicks.
While basketball shoes have become increasingly colorful and flashy, the Under Armour Curry 2 Low sneakers look more like an orthapedic shoe you'd only find if it were in the wrong section in the shoe store.
Bazemore was shocked.
I'm off Twitter for one day and come back to this!?! Ah hxLL no

"I'm off Twitter for one day and come back to this?!?" Bazemore Tweeted. "Ah hxLL no."
Bazemore responded to critics' Tweets that said he would never wear the shoe and they weren't stylish enough for them to buy.
We just live in a world that wears "basketball" sneakers as lifestyle shoes... #TheDisconnect

"So we base what a "basketball" shoe looks like with a pair of skinny jeans," Bazemore lamented with a disapproving emoji.
So we base what a "basketball" shoe looks like with a pair of skinny jeans. 😑

Bazemore can defend the shoes all he wants (full disclosure, he has a deal with Under Armour, too). But he has to admit, the trolls were pretty good this time:
