ATLANTA — We already know that newly-signed Falcons quarterback Kirk Cousins can sling the football, but Atlanta sports fans will soon get to see his baseball talent on display.
The four-time Pro Bowler will throw out the first pitch at Truist Park on Sunday night ahead of ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball game between the Atlanta Braves and Texas Rangers.
Cousins signed a massive four-year, $180 million deal in March that includes $100 million in guaranteed money.
He spent the previous six seasons of his career with the Minnesota Vikings and spent the six years before that with Washington.
Cousins talked in his opening press conference with the Falcons about how his wife's family lives in Johns Creek and how he is an avid Braves and Hawks fan.
