ATLANTA — A highly-touted Atlanta high school football player made his college football future known on Saturday.

Westlake High School wide receiver and four-star commit Travis Smith Jr. committed to Tennessee over UGA, Alabama and Auburn.

Smith Jr. is a 6-foot-4, 203-pound rising senior at Westlake and is the 27th-ranked wide receiver in the entire nation.

According to 11Alive's insiders at Rivals, Smith Jr. had 35 offers. He recently told Rivals that he had narrowed down his final four schools to UGA, Alabama, Auburn, and Tennessee. Rivals had predicted with 80% certainty that Smith Jr. will pick the Georgia Bulldogs.

The star wide receiver is trained by former UGA great Terrence Edwards, who played with the Dawgs from 1999 to 2002. During his four-year career, Edwards had 204 catches for 3,093 yards and 30 touchdowns.

In his junior season, Smith Jr. had 34 receptions for 587 yards and eight touchdowns -- good for 65.2 receiving yards per game, according to MaxPreps.
