Late Thursday night, in a town outside of Dalton, Ga., a very small earthquake rumbled.
According to the United States Geological Service, a 1.9 magnitude earthquake was reported at around 10:52 PM in the town of Villanow. It's an unincorporated area in northwest Georgia in Walker County.
For perspective:
The quake was concentrated in the John's Mountain Wildlife Management Area, so it's likely that no humans felt it.

There have been 16 small earthquakes in Georgia over the last year. Most of them were concentrated in the northeast Georgia region and ranged in magnitude from 1.2 to 2.6.
