BATON ROUGE, La. — Every offseason, the conversation about returning quarterbacks in the SEC takes center stage.
That's the debate now for the future of the position at LSU.
Right now, many are acting like Myles Brennan is a returning starter for LSU. The junior quarterback has some returning experience for LSU.
Meanwhile, freshman quarterback TJ Finley has more starting experience than Brennan.
While Brennan threw for 1,112 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions, Finley threw for 941 yards, five touchdowns, and five interceptions.
Finley certainly had his struggles. He was very tentative, according to Locked On LSU host Matt Moscana. He joined Chris Gordy for the latest episode of Locked On SEC.
“Brennan has only made three starts. He has been around a long time. We have waited a long time to see him, but he didn’t play very much,” Moscana said. “Really, the game that he won against Vanderbilt, is the day that John Emery busted out. It wasn’t really as much Brennan slinging the ball as it as Emery running the ball."
So which quarterback will LSU use more? Listen to today's episode.
