MLB All-Star Game coming to Atlanta next year | Here's what you need to know on tickets

The All-Star Game wrapped up in Texas on Tuesday night. Next stop -- Truist Park.

ATLANTA — The bow is now wrapped on 2024 MLB All-Star festivities in Texas, after a competitive game featuring a 5-3 come-from-behind victory for the American League.

Next stop on the Midsummer Classic: Atlanta.

Braves fans watching the festivities over the last few days in Arlington surely now can't wait for the showcase to come to Georgia next year.

While there will undoubtedly be high demand locally for tickets to events like the Home Run Derby and the All-Star Game itself, be forewarned: These aren't easy tickets to come by.

Here's a bit of what you'll need to know if you're wanting to take in the scene next year:

2025 MLB All-Star Game in Atlanta | Ticket info and outlook

  • Here's the short of it: If you're a Braves fan looking for tickets to the 2025 All-Star Game, Home Run Derby and other All-Star Week festivities, you pretty much need to be a member of the team's "A-List" season ticket package program. And it really helps if you've already been a member.

Now, for a bit of a longer explanation: According to the team website, current A-List members who are on the team's Green Light Renewal Program for 2025 "will have first access to All-Star Week festivities."

"If you are not a current Member, visit braves.com/waitlist to learn more and join the waitlist to increase your chances of receiving access to the 2025 All-Star events," the team site adds.

You can join the A-List waitlist here. There's always tickets available to these kinds of events on the secondary markets (for a high price), but being an existing Braves season ticket holder is your most straightforward path to access.

It breaks down a bit further.

What if you're a premium A-List member?

If you're an A-List premium member (those with ticket packages in the premium clubs including the Truist Club, Delta Club, Xfinity Club or with multi-year suite leases) the team site indicates you will have a guaranteed "opportunity to be a part of All-Star Week."

"We will provide you with details on seat locations, quantities, and access to specific events in future communication," an FAQ adds.

Does that mean direct access to tickets? The FAQ is not definitive here: "There is no information on individual ticket access to any All-Star Week events at this time." The site further notes that "tickets and/or access are not guaranteed as the All-Star Game and events are controlled by Major League Baseball."

An additional portion of the FAQ asks: "Do I get access to all All-Star Week events at Truist Park?"

The answer: "Since All-Star Week is an Major League Baseball initiative, there are a variety of events, logistics, business partners and teams to consider before ticket access is established. We will have more specific details on how Partners who are under contract for the 2025 season can participate in All-Star festivities closer to the 2025 season."

So the best outlook currently appears to be: No guarantees right now on any tickets to specific events, but it appears some availability of some kind is just about set in stone if you're a premium member.

What if you're a regular A-List member?

It looks like your status will be a little more uncertain.

One portion of the team's FAQ states: "The only way to access seats for All-Star Week in Atlanta will be to maintain an A-List Membership with the Braves. Seats will be assigned based on your Membership tenure, plan size, and seating location. Members on the Green Light Renewal Program received communication on June 13th regarding their access and priority level. We anticipate invoicing All-Star Game seating in the first few months of 2025."

There's nothing else in the FAQ that distinguishes what regular A-List members might be able to expect for All-Star 2025 availability, relative to premium A-List members. The team is however clear that if you don't renew for 2025, there will be no All-Star availability.

What if you're not an A-List member at all?

It does not appear there will be any direct access to tickets for the general public. It'll simply be up to you to hunt the secondary ticketing sites.
