Here's when Braves-Mets series was rescheduled after it was postponed due to heavy rains

The series is pivotal to both teams' playoff hopes, with just one game separating Atlanta and New York in the National League Wild Card race.

ATLANTA — The final two games of the ever-important Braves vs. Mets series at Truist Park have been postponed due to heavy rains and potential impacts from Hurricane Helene.

The series is pivotal to both teams' playoff hopes, with just one game separating Atlanta and New York in the National League Wild Card race.

The Braves remain just a half game back of the Arizona Diamondbacks for the final Wild Card spot -- the Mets maintain the second spot, where they are a half game up on the Dbacks and a full game up on the Braves.

When will Braves-Mets make up their games

The MLB announced that the Braves and Mets will play a doubleheader at Truist Park on Monday, Sept. 30 -- just one day before the MLB postseason begins.

Game 1 will start at 1:10 p.m., and Game 2 will start approximately 40 minutes after the final out of Game 1.

It is a single admission game, with only one ticket being required to attend both games. If you had tickets to Wednesday night's game, your ticket is no longer valid, but you will receive a refund. If you had tickets to Thursday night's game, your ticket is valid for entry to Monday's doubleheader.

The Braves begin a three-game set at home versus the Kansas City Royals on Friday, while the Mets go out to Milwaukee to face the Brewers for a three-game set.
