ATLANTA — The Atlanta Hawks are hosting their annual Hispanic Heritage Night this weekend.

The event will take place at State Farm Arena on Sunday, March 10, at 6 p.m., as the Hawks face off against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The night celebrates the culture of Hispanic and Latino communities. There will also be music, dancing and in-game elements. The first 4,000 fans will receive a special red rally towel courtesy of CareSource.

“We are thrilled to partner with CareSource to highlight the Hispanic and Latino communities in and around the league,” Hawks’ Executive Vice President and Chief People, Diversity and Inclusion Officer Camye Mackey said. “Through nights like Hispanic Heritage Night presented by CareSource, we are proud to celebrate the diversity within our communities and learn from one another.”

Singer Sirena Grace, from New York, will also take the stage to perform the national anthem. Grace's parents immigrated to the U.S. from the Dominican Republic and El Salvador, a release from the Hawks stated.

Then, at halftime, Puerto Rican singer and rapper, Lunay, will perform. Lunay rose to fame in the Latin and reggaeton scene with his songs "A Solas," "Luz Apaga," and "Soltera." The singer also recorded a "Soltera" remix with Daddy Yankee and Bad Bunny in 2019, widely known as the "Song of Summer."

This year's Hispanic Heritage Night will mark the Hawks' first-ever Spanish game over the air, which will air on Telemundo Atlanta.
