Falcons won't host fans onsite for training camp due to construction

The team will host two open practices at offsite locations this summer.

FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. — The Atlanta Falcons announced Monday that construction at the Flowery Branch facility will prevent fans from attending training camp this summer.

However, fans can look forward to two open practices at offsite locations.

The first one will be held at Seckinger High School in Buford on Saturday, July 27 and will be free to attend. The free practice will mark the Falcons’ return to a local high school for the first time since a 2016 practice at Grayson High School.

The second, which costs $5 to attend, will be at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Friday, Aug. 2. Tickets will support Emory Healthcare, the Falcons' official team healthcare provider.

The Falcons said more information about the two offsite practices will be announced at a later date-- including times, parking and how to get tickets.

The team says the pause is only for this year, and they plan to welcome fans back to Flowery Branch in 2025.
