ATLANTA — The Atlanta Falcons will feature in primetime national games in two of the first three weeks of the 2024 NFL season, sources told 11Alive's Maria Martin on Wednesday.
The official 2024 schedule release for all of the NFL's teams is due later Wednesday, but before noon sources confirmed to 11Alive the first three games on the Falcons schedule.
Those include:
- Week 1: Home vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
- Week 2: At Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football
- Week 3: Home vs. Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football
The Monday Night Football appearance will be Atlanta's first since 2020, and the Sunday Night Football game will be the first time the Falcons have featured in that primetime matchup since 2019.
