The Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday unveiled nine new renderings of their $1.2 billion new stadium in downtown Atlanta.
The design includes a large window on one side of the seating bowl, which will offer panoramic views of the downtown skyline. A "video halo" will encircle the opening of the retractable roof (called the "oculus"), offering a neat way to transform the stadium for various events, incorporate social media and provide marketing and sponsorship opportunities.
The team broke ground on the facility on May 20.
