Covering the last two home games, the Atlanta Falcons defense has more touchdowns (two) than the offense (one).
(UPDATE: Matt Ryan just scored on a 1-yard plunge to even up the 'touchdowns' tally from above.)
That doesn't speak very well of the Falcons' sluggish offense during this five-game losing skid; but it also paints the defense in a better light.
On Sunday, linebacker Deion Jones benefited from Vic Beasley's heads-up/hands-up pass deflection off Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen ... cruising in for a 41-yard pick-six in the first quarter.
At the time, Atlanta was trailing 7-0 and offering very little entertainment to the red-clad masses at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Jones' INT/TD return marked his third career touchdown. On the flip side, it also represented the rookie Rosen's fourth pick-six of his young career.
