ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld made national headlines last week when they announced their engagement.
Steinfeld is now providing more details through her Beau Society newsletter with a Q&A of the Buffalo Bills quarterback. At one point she asked, "What is the funniest/craziest thing that happened on the day we got engaged(!)?"
Allen replied: "The funniest thing was that we woke up and were getting ready for brunch, and you jumped on the bed and said, 'Can we get married already?!? What are you waiting for??!' I replied, 'Just give me a little more time.' Little did you know I was about to propose to you."
Steinfeld asked Allen about his nerves before popping the big question, whether he remembered what he said when he was on one knee, how he felt immediately afterward, and how he feels about being engaged.
Most of the questions from Steinfeld to Allen were light-hearted in nature, as you might expect. Topics included cars, role models, dad jokes, onside kicks, movies, pizza, and what he would do if he didn't play sports.

Allen and Steinfeld announced their engagement on Nov. 29 on their Instagram pages. He posted a photo of himself, on bended knee, with a caption that read simply "♾️ 11•22•24 ♾️"
At least one Bills player has used the bye week in back-to-back seasons to pop the big question. Last year, it was tight end Dawson Knox who took to Instagram to announce his engagement, complete with a set of 10 photos.
