LAS VEGAS — With the Chiefs and 49ers heading into overtime in Super Bowl LVIII, it marks just the second time ever that a Super Bowl has gone into overtime.
The only other time? The Falcons and Patriots in Super Bowl LI. In that game, the Falcons infamously blew a 28-3 lead and ultimately lost to the Tom Brady-led Pats by a final of 34-28.
But back then, the Patriots possessed the ball first and scored a touchdown to end the game. This year, the overtime rules are different.

Now, this year, each team will have a chance to possess the ball before the game ends -- giving both teams a shot to win.
