SMYRNA, Ga. — Puppy Bowl XX returns on Super Bowl Sunday-- and the matchup between Team Ruff and Team Fluff is sure to be un-furgettable.
This year's Puppy Bowl will be the biggest and most adorable yet, featuring 131 puppies, 73 shelters, and rescues across 36 states and territories.
In Georgia, four puppies at Bosley's Place, a nonprofit animal rescue in Smyrna, will go paw-to-paw against their fur-ocious competitors.
"Puppy Bowl is such a fun experience, not just for the puppies, but also the handlers," Bosley's Place Director Jennifer Siegel said. "(We) were able to meet lots of adorable puppies from all over the country and, of course, the phenomenal people who volunteer for these organizations."
Siegel recently traveled with all four of the pups: Charlotte, Lille, Sweetpea, and Theodore for a full day of filming.
"Traveling with the puppies is sometimes challenging, this year, it was a breeze as all four of our puppies were able to fit in the cabin of the airplane. In past years, we have had to drive to the filming in Lake George when we participated with another dog with disabilities that required a wheelchair," Siegel recalled.

Charlotte- Team Fluff
Charlotte is a Pekingese, Poodle, and Chihuahua mix. She's also Lille's sister, pictured below. Siegel described Charlotte as a "little sassy spitfire."
Lille - Team Ruff
Lille, on the other hand, is Charlotte's exact opposite. Siegel said Lille is a "loving cuddler."
Sweetpea- Team Ruff
Sweetpea is the Puppy Bowl's all-time tiniest competitor-- weighing in at just 1.7 pounds. She is a Cavapoo, a mix between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a poodle.
Siegel said Sweetpea is very pup-ular. She has thousands of anxious fans waiting to see her debut in the games.
Theodore- Team Ruff
Theodore is a Chihuahua and Shih Tzu mix. Seigel said he has "grown into a handsome, playful and loving little boy."
Many pups at Bosley's Place are still looking for their fur-ever homes.
