LAS VEGAS — A former Georgia Bulldog is now a Super Bowl hero.
Wide receiver Mecole Hardman will forever live on in NFL and Chiefs lore after catching the game-winning 3-yard touchdown from Patrick Mahomes to seal the deal against the San Francisco 49ers in overtime.
It's a well-deserved recognition and achievement for Hardman, who just played in his fourth Super Bowl with the Chiefs -- marking his third ring.
Hardman began the year with the Jets before being traded back to Kansas City in the middle of the season.
The UGA standout was a second-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft out of Georgia.
