LAS VEGAS — When the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers meet on Sunday in Super Bowl LVIII, both the University of Georgia and Georgia Tech will be well represented in Las Vegas.

There will be seven players represented between the two universities in the big game, with five of those coming from UGA and two coming from Tech, respectively. Three of those players at the two schools play for the Chiefs, while four play for the 9ers.

Here's which players are representing these respective Georgia colleges in the Super Bowl:

Kansas City Chiefs

Harrison Butker - Kicker (Georgia Tech)

Butker, a Decatur, Georgia, native, is no stranger to the Super Bowl. Having appeared in what will be his fourth come Sunday, the former Yellow Jacket was the hero for the Chiefs in last year's Super Bowl win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Butker nailed a 27-yarder with seconds left to help push the Chiefs over the top.

Mecole Hardman - Wide receiver (Georgia)

Just like his fellow teammate and former college rival Butker, Hardman will also be playing in his third Super Bowl with the Chiefs. The former UGA wide receiver will also be playing in his fourth Super Bowl. Hardman began the year with the Jets before being traded back to Kansas City in the middle of the season.

Malik Herring - Defensive lineman (Georgia)

Herring finished up his UGA career in 2021 after winning a national championship and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Chiefs.

San Francisco 49ers

Charlie Woerner - Tight end (Georgia)

Woerner was drafted by the 49ers in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft and has been with San Francisco ever since. He had three catches for 32 yards this year.

Chris Conley - Wide receiver (Georgia)

Conley is now in his ninth season in the NFL and is playing in his first Super Bowl -- but against his former time. The former UGA wide receiver was drafted in the 2015 NFL Draft by the Chiefs.

Jordan Mason (Georgia Tech)

In his second season with the 49ers after being signed as an undrafted free agent, Mason has made some noise in the backfield behind Christian McCaffrey this season. He has rushed for 206 yards and three touchdowns while also compiling one receiving touchdown.

Robert Beal (Georgia)

Beal is in his first season with the 9ers after being drafted in the fifth round in last year's draft. He has played in four games this season.
