WASHINGTON — The 2024 Super Bowl matchup has been set. The Kansas City Chiefs will be representing the AFC after beating the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 on Sunday. Representing the NFC will be the San Francisco 49ers after they beat the Detroit Lions 34-31.

The Chiefs beat the 49ers during Super Bowl LIV, which was Kansas City's first appearance in the Super Bowl in 50 years.

With the loss in the NFC championship, the Detroit Lions remain one of just four teams who have never made it to the Super Bowl. The other three teams are the Cleveland Browns, Houston Texas and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Who is performing at the Super Bowl?

We already know several big names who will be center stage at the Super Bowl. Usher, an eight-time Grammy winner, will be headline the halftime show. Last year's halftime show performer, Rihanna, was the second-most watched in history. She also had a big surprise in store, revealing during her performance that she was pregnant

Before Usher and the Super Bowl teams take the field this year, Reba McEntire will sing the national anthem, Post Malone will sing "America the Beautiful" and Andra Day will sing "Lift Every Voice and Sing."

When is the Super Bowl?

Super Bowl LVIII (which stands for Super Bowl 58) kicks off on Sunday, Feb. 11 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, around 6:30 p.m. Eastern (5:30 p.m. Central Time, 4:30 p.m. Mountain Time and 3:30 p.m. Pacific Time).

What channel is the Super Bowl on?

The Super Bowl will air on CBS and there will be a kids-focused presentation of the game on Nickelodeon, marking the first time the Super Bowl has had an alternate broadcast on a separate network.

How to stream the Super Bowl

The CBS broadcast will be available to stream live via Paramount+. The streaming service starts at $5.99/month, but also offers a 7-day free trial so you can catch the Super Bowl on streaming for free.

Will Taylor Swift attend the Super Bowl?

Swift could theoretically make it to Las Vegas in time for the Super Bowl thanks to time zones. If the pop star leaves Tokyo soon after her performance on Feb. 10, she could make it to Vegas roughly 24-hours before kickoff.

She was shown early and often during the AFC title game. CBS cut to Swift while advertising its upcoming Grammy Awards broadcast and showed her again after Kelce made a big catch in the second quarter.

Kelce, a four-time All-Pro tight end and two-time Super Bowl champion with the Chiefs, now has three TD catches this postseason. He had two last week in Kansas City's divisional round victory at Buffalo, with Swift in attendance.

Swift has been a regular at Kelce's games this season, bringing the league even more attention from fans of one of the biggest entertainment stars in the world.
