Your guide to the athletes with Georgia ties competing at the Paris Olympics
Here's a guide to walk you through who we're following from start to finish as the Summer Games commence.
The time has come for athletes around the world to gather for the Paris Olympics. They've done extensive training and preparation for what lies ahead with the Summer Games.
And this year -- athletes with Georgia ties are making a big splash. There are more than 75 Olympians with connections to our state competing in the 2024 Paris Games.
NBC is the home for U.S. coverage for the Paris Olympics -- and 11Alive will follow the journeys of the athletes with Georgia ties as they compete for gold. To keep track of them all, we're dividing them into four categories: swimming & diving, track & field, those competing in other individual sports and those competing in other team sports.
